Materials Technician

As a Materials Technician at MAHLE, you will support project leaders by performing experimental coating trials, preparing coating materials, and undertaking metallurgical sample preparation and analysis work. You will also contribute to quality and dimensional evaluation of components, writing technical reports, and supporting materials development, customer projects, and benchmarking.

Requirements

• HNC, HND, CertHE, degree or equivalent in a materials, science or engineering related subject
• Experience of working in a materials analysis laboratory
• Knowledge of metallurgical sample preparation methods and instrumental analytical techniques
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
