Job Description
Mahmee is seeking a Certified Lactation Consultant to provide expert-level lactation support and education to families in-hospital and post-discharge in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on improving breastfeeding outcomes by working 7 days a week, with weekends mandatory, and prioritizing client comfort and experience. Mahmee is backed by venture capital firms and is committed to providing wraparound care.
Requirements
- Active IBCLC Certification
- Knowledge of infant feeding behaviors
- Knowledge of galactagogue indications and use
- Knowledge of symmetrical latching techniques
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Hands-on latching and positioning instruction
- Excellent bedside manner
- Strong communication skills
