Job Description
The Discovery Camp Director is responsible for overseeing the summer residential Discovery Camp program, supervising program and counseling staff, and ensuring the safety and well-being of campers. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as experience in staff supervision and program planning.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of work experience in a supervisory or teaching position
- Experience in staff supervision and program planning
- Knowledge of Salvation Army practices and organization
- Ability to pass a criminal and driver background check
- Valid State Driver's License
- Ability to work with people from all populations
