Case Manager

The Salvation Army is seeking a full-time case manager to work with clients in a recovery-focused transitional housing program in San Francisco. The case manager will assess client needs, develop goal plans, provide referral and resource coordination services, and cultivate a transformative community based on the program's principles of recovery, accountability, and service.

Requirements

• High school diploma (College course work in social services or psychology preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to express empathy and foster a collaborative alliance with clients
• Familiarity with San Francisco social services, government resources, community resources, healthcare services, mental health support, and housing services
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with little direct supervision
• Culturally competent and able to work with a highly diverse population
• Excellent time management skills
