Job Description
Provide guidance and support to counselors, develop and implement cabin activities, and ensure camper safety. Assist with training and development of Leadership Program-Counselors and lead a group of 8-12 campers through a positive camping experience.
Requirements
- Plan and implement weekly meetings
- Check in daily with each counselor
- Schedule a daily planning and prep period
- Plan for and prepare counselor evaluations
- Teach and model counseling techniques
- Assign CIT's to program and cabin tasks
- Complete weekly evaluation of CIT's
- Work closely with cabin counselors
- Present materials for cabin contracts
- Assist with cabin assignments
- Prepare and deliver devotion per week
- Ensure cabin supervision
- Complete required forms
- Interact with counselors and campers
- Report child abuse issues
- Report property maintenance issues
- Attend evening programs and spiritual activities
- Maintain cleanliness
- Assist with cleanup
