Peer Recovery Coach - Mental Health 121

We are seeking a Peer Recovery Coach to engage with members served and provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture. The ideal candidate will have a lived experience of behavioral health challenges, a high school diploma or GED, and one year of experience supporting members served. The Peer Recovery Coach will provide consultation to the team, respond to critical situations, and promote a least restrictive environment for members served.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Peer Certification must be obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment
• California: obtain Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA prior to hire date and maintained throughout employment.
• One (1) year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members served with behavioral health challenges
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care
• Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training.
• Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
