Job Description
Peer Support Specialists engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members served to explore, create, and meet their own recovery goals. They provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture, and respond to critical situations with high level engagement and de-escalation skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Peer Certification (California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification)
- Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system of care
- Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups
