Job Description
The Psychiatric Emergency Clinician I conducts child, youth, and adult evaluations and releases per 5585/5150 regulations. They engage and educate members served, families, and significant others in crisis stabilization, treatment, and mental health recovery. They serve as a liaison to community programs and develop strategic partnerships to enhance aftercare plans.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent
- Two years of direct service experience in a behavioral health setting
- Waived Clinician as ACSW or IMFT and completion of all prelicensure classes
- CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certification
