The Recovery Specialist II provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served, working in a psychiatric mental health setting to deliver excellent and effective behavioral health services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D and two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting or BA/BS with one (1) year experience in mental health setting
- Certification as a CNA or its equivalent is acceptable documentation of nursing skills knowledge
- Proficient understanding of client advocacy and client rights as defined in Title 17 and Title 9
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment
