Cook (Per diem, weekends)

The Relief Cook helps cover the absence of the House Chef, including weekends, holidays, and vacations. Responsibilities include food handling, lunch and dinner preparation, and assisting with the residents' therapeutic nutritional needs. Each household will have unique food items.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in all phases of food service
• Experience cooking in a healthcare setting preferred
• Requires proficiency in spoken and written English
• Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English
• Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English
• Basic computer skills
