Mainstream Fiber Networks is a telecommunications company that provides fiber optic internet to rural areas in Indiana. As a GIS Analyst, you will support the company's infrastructure projects by analyzing high-level designs and determining the feasibility of proposed network deployments using GIS technology.
Requirements
- Review and analyze high-level designs for telecommunications network deployments
- Utilize GIS software and spatial analysis techniques to evaluate geographic data and identify optimal locations for network infrastructure components
- Collect, organize, and maintain spatial datasets related to telecommunications infrastructure
- Create maps and visualizations to communicate spatial information, site locations, and network designs
- Document findings, methodologies, and recommendations in technical reports and presentations
