General Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex plays a critical role in supporting the safe and functional operation of all buildings, systems, and infrastructure. This hands-on position involves a mix of preventative maintenance, general repair work, and timely response to facility issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
• 2+ years of prior experience in building maintenance or a related field
• Certifications related to the duties in the job description
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Skilled in the use of basic hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical reasoning
• Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
