Senior Data Analyst, Baseball Data Platform

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Baseball Data Platform team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will investigate data quality issues, lead large data initiatives, and leverage data to deliver insights. You will partner with software engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to create a rich and robust data platform.

Requirements

• Investigate potential data quality issues
• Lead large data initiatives
• Implement high-impact process changes
• Achieve comprehensive expertise in Baseball Data Platform
• Respond directly to inquiries from MLB clubs, broadcasters, and MLB leadership
• Define and enforce high standards for data documentation, code review, and statistical best practices
• Build optimized queries and statistical reports/models
• Design and produce reports delivering insights
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols
• Test/validate new data and metrics
• Serve as the team's go-to resource for complex data problems
