Job Description
We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team at Making Waves Academy. As a Special Education Teacher, you will provide Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) and drive measurable academic growth for students with IEPs. You will also establish and maintain a well-organized classroom environment and implement a positive behavior support program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and strong content area knowledge
- Valid state teaching credential or eligibility to obtain one
- CA Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate Support Needs)
- CLAD/BCLAD
- 3+ years' experience in a special education setting
