Job Description
Mako is looking for inquisitive problem solvers to join its team as a Graduate Trader. The role involves working in a fast-paced real-time trading environment, learning from experienced traders, and rotating across different product areas. The program is designed to give graduates in-depth knowledge and experience of the industry and options markets.
Requirements
- Ability to make logical decisions under pressure
- Ability to react quickly to changing circumstances
- Ability to demonstrate a competitive edge
- Enthusiasm to learn about the business and make own mark
- Entrepreneurial approach, including proactive problem-solving and ownership of outcomes
- High level of mathematical ability
- Programming ability - e.g. familiarity with VBA and Python
- High numeracy
- Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent
