Lead and manage merchandising and buying activities for assigned product categories, conducting market analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and margin improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required or related work
- 5 - 8 years of experience with merchandising and supplier relationships
- Result orientation, Good planning and execution
- Teamwork & collaboration cross functionally
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving
- Computer skills (MS office, advanced excel, Word)
- Strong buying and merchandising expertise with hands-on experience in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management
- Solid understanding of cost structure, pricing, margin optimization, and commercial trade-offs
- Experience in assortment planning, SKU rationalization, and category performance management
- Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze sales, margin, stock, and supplier performance
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple categories in a dynamic retail or wholesale environment
