Job Description
Manhattan Beer and Beverage Distributors is seeking a Production Equipment Maintenance Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems in their warehouse and distribution operations. The role requires a strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial networking, as well as excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams.
Requirements
- Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with automated systems in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments
- Ability to travel between Bronx, Brooklyn, Suffern, Long Island and Queens locations
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial networking
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Skilled in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
