Job Description
The New York County District Attorney's Office has an opening for an Investigative Analyst in its Violent Criminal Enterprises Unit (VCEU). The Analyst will provide highly skilled analytical support to the unit's Assistant District Attorneys (ADAs) and office, including conducting in-depth open source searches, analyzing documentary evidence, and generating trial and Grand Jury exhibits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and one year of experience as a paralegal in the criminal justice field or equivalent
- Prior law enforcement or investigative agency experience
- Excellent organization, communication, time management, writing and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy
- Literacy in computer applications, including PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficiency in Internet search strategies and techniques
