Job Description
The New York County District Attorney's Office has an opening for a Supervising Major Case Analyst. The analyst will work with the Director of the Analyst Program and Trial Bureau leadership to oversee the analytical work of analysts within a Trial Bureau. They will assist with officewide training efforts and serve as thought leaders on emerging investigative techniques.
Requirements
- Oversee the analytical work of analysts within the bureau
- Support administrative supervisors
- Prepare written materials and trainings
- Participate in and occasionally lead regular roundtables
- Stay abreast of new developments in investigative techniques
- Identify, collect, review, analyze, and present evidence
- Create presentations, diagrams, charts, and other visual aids
- Assist ADAs in developing long-term investigations
- Design investigative plans and assist in executing those plans
- Serve as the liaison with the High Technology Analysis Unit
