Job Description
Manitoba Public Insurance's Information & Technology Talent Community seeks a Developer 1 to join their Software Development & Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Computer Science or related IT discipline, and possess knowledge of software development life cycle, secure development techniques, and programming languages such as Java, C#, and VB.NET. The role involves designing program logic, generating code, and collaborating with business users in the requirement gathering process.
Requirements
- Collaborate with business users in the requirement gathering process
- Work with the senior developer and systems analyst in design process
- Design program logic for simple programs and generate program code
- Compile and de-bug program code
- Take part in the development of code for projects and production support, as well as code review and testing process
- Participate in preparing test data, test programs and correct program errors
- Implement and document approved programs
