Job Description
The Field Service Tech (Mechanic) role involves troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment. This position requires onsite work, potentially overnight travel, and customer interaction. Responsibilities include all aspects of providing end-user customers with a timely and efficient service experience and may require overtime. Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems is required.
Requirements
- Current Federal Medical Examination Card
- Strong mechanical aptitude (hydraulics, electrical, and hardware)
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics, 12-volt electrical systems, wiring, and programming
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of sizing of fittings and hydraulic hoses
- Able to operate saws, plasma cutters, and oxygen/acetylene torches
- Ability to adjust pressures and reliefs
- Basic mechanical design or practical experience in hydraulics and structural layout
