Finance Executive

The Finance Executive will provide day-to-day support to the finance team and compute, classify, and record financial data to maintain accurate financial information.

Requirements

• Assisting in maintaining the company's books of accounts, including accounting schedules;
• Reviewing and authorising invoices relating to payables and receivables prior to posting;
• Obtaining authorisation for the processing of accounts payables information;
• Recording of financial transactions and the posting of Journals;
• Ensuring correct bank and control account reconciliations;
• Assisting with the preparation of routine trial balance and management ac-counts, including any preparations of accruals and pre-payments, whilst carrying out month-end accounting procedures and reconciliations;
• Assisting with the preparation for external financial audits;
• Assisting in other general accounting duties, including the management of petty cash, ad-hoc reports, credit control and preparation of supplier payments via Bank Transfers or Cheques;
• Performing inventory cycle counts with stores and reporting on findings;
• Mentoring, supporting and guiding any possible recruits within the finance team;
