As the Department Head Accounting, you will be responsible for the operational processes in the accounting department, ensuring timely financial statements and VAT returns, and controlling short-term cash flows. You will also lead a team of 9 employees and collaborate with other departments. The role requires a chartered accountant or business administration degree with a focus on accounting and financial accounting, at least 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting, and experience in managing employees.

Requirements

• Completed training as a chartered accountant or completed business administration degree with a focus on accounting and financial accounting or a comparable qualification.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting.
• Experience in managing employees.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting in accordance with the Commercial Code.
• Knowledge of IAS/IFRS.
• Secure handling of MS-Office, especially Excel and Teams.
• Experience in working with an ERP system, ideally knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
