Care Coordinator

The Care Coordinator role at Maple Counseling Center is responsible for providing quality customer service, making clients feel supported and welcome, and conducting a screening process to assess client needs. The role involves explaining services and obtaining proper resources for participants, as well as initiating mental health services by introducing services, scheduling intake appointments, and making appropriate linkages from a robust network of resources.

Requirements

• Associate degree in social services or related field from a recognized institution required, Bachelor’s is preferred.
• At least two to five years in mental health services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (composition, spelling, and punctuation).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), internet search engines, and other computer and mobile applications for work, such as video conferencing, and scheduling software.
• Ability to present data in clear and concise manner to individuals and groups.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse populations and service providers.
• Impressive skills in conducting research and utilizing internet search tools.
