Maraca Learning, Inc. is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work with children with autism in a beautiful clinic setting in downtown Boise. As an RBT, you will work 1:1 with children, conduct ABA therapy sessions, and teach communication, social skills, and more. We offer training, supervision, and a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- At least 6 months prior experience working with children
- Must absolutely love working with children, especially children with disabilities
- Highly energetic and optimistic outlook on life and its many challenges
- Current state driver's license
- Proof of car insurance in employee's name and current address
- Reliable vehicle and ability to show up to work on-time every day
- Certification in Basic Life Support and willingness to maintain certification
- Completion of 40 hours of RBT training (which we provide within 90 days of employment)
- Pass the RBT Competency Assessment and obtain certification
- Willingness to submit driver's license and fingerprints for state and federal background check
- Verification of legal authorization to work in the US upon hire
- Respond well to regular guidance and coaching
- Ability to work on a team and collaborate
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong multitasking skills
- Highly reliable and consistent, showing up every day on time and ready to go
