Job Description
The Medical Reserve Corp Unit Volunteer is a volunteer position that assists Marathon County Emergency Management and the Marathon County Health Department in disaster response, public health initiatives, community preparedness, and community health outreach.
Requirements
- Assist in emergency response efforts
- Provide first aid or assist other community partners at shelters, emergency clinics, or points of dispensing (POD) sites
- Assist with damage assessments
- Assist with Multi-Agency Resource Centers
- Assist in the Emergency Operations Center
- Attend and complete MRC training sessions, including emergency preparedness, CPR/first aid, and disaster response courses
