Marine Tankerman

An exciting career awaits you at Marathon Petroleum Company (MPC) as a shore-based Marine Tankerman. The position is based out of the Catlettsburg, KY area and involves safely and efficiently transferring barges, troubleshooting, and performing minor maintenance in accordance with Company procedures and USCG regulations.

Requirements

• Conduct barge transfers based on MPC’s procedures and all applicable USCG regulations/guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on barges.
• Maintain uniforms and equipment necessary for transfers in good, clean condition so as to be ready and available for each barge transfer.
• Participate in safety and training activities.
• Interface with customers and do so in accordance with MPC’s policies/procedures.
