Job Description
The Early Head Start Teacher position provides active learning experiences and creates a safe environment for 0- to 3-year-old children to enhance their development and skills. The teacher plans and participates in parent education, parent involvement, and family support activities, and helps build stronger families and brighter futures for our youngest residents of Maricopa County.
Requirements
- Six months of experience teaching in a licensed childcare or pre-k setting
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or equivalent post-secondary degree
- Completion of supervised student teaching in an early childhood setting may substitute for the teaching experience requirement
