Job Description
Heavy Equipment Technician with Maricopa County Equipment Services Department. Work on a team that values craftsmanship, collaboration, and continuous growth. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing complex repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, performing routine preventative maintenance, and maintaining service records.
Requirements
- Two years of heavy-duty and off-road equipment mechanic experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Arizona
- Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) certification within 90 days of hire
- Tools required to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and equipment
