Job Description
Mariner is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design of enterprise data architectures in cloud environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will define and implement data models, standards, and governance frameworks across diverse systems and teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing modern, enterprise-scale data platforms in Azure (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric)
- Strong expertise in data modeling and enterprise data architecture practices
- Deep understanding of data integration patterns across complex systems
- Experience working with healthcare data ecosystems, including interoperability standards like FHIR and HL7
- A strong grasp of data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
