Job Description
Mark III Construction is seeking an experienced Field Welder/Fabricator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in TIG, SMAW welding, and pipe fitting, and a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble piping components
- Consistently perform GMAW (Mig) pipe welds that meet ASME/AWS standards and maintain welding certification
- Consistently perform GTAW (TIG) pipe welds that meet ASME/AWS standards and maintain welding certification
- Able to perform their own pipe fitting as needed
- Able to work alone
- Constantly seeks ways to improve efficiency, quality and cost control where applicable
- Meet key business objectives including safety, quality, productivity, delivery, etc.
- Determine appropriate welding techniques, by reading and analyzing plans and work orders, calculating requirements and studying materials
