Job Description
Business Development Executive - London Market role at Markel, supporting key broker relationships and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have solid working knowledge of the insurance market and strong IT capability. They will also be able to build strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders and underwriting teams.
Requirements
- Solid working knowledge of the insurance market and current developments
- Strong IT capability, with confidence producing management information and meeting materials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear note-taking and the ability to lead discussions
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities, plan workloads and meet deadlines
- Ability to understand, interpret and support strategy, and apply it effectively across broker relationships
- Professional, confident and relationship-focused, with strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working independently while taking ownership of outcomes
