Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support our efforts to ensure compliance with state laws and regulations. The successful candidate will have 3 years of experience in the field of insurance, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office products.

Requirements

• Support the department's efforts to ensure compliance with state insurance regulations
• Accurately and thoroughly interpret state laws in assigned states
• Review bulletins distributed by advisory bureaus and state departments of insurance
• Determine impact on company practices and operations
• Coordinate, investigate and respond to consumer/insurance department complaints
• Maintain procedures to ensure the integrity of business practices in assigned states
• Support the department's efforts to acquire regulatory approval of its rates, rules and forms
• Prepare implementation notices outlining changes to existing underwriting processes
