Job Description
Talent Together seeks a Talent Together Mentor Teacher for a year-long program in the Mid-Michigan and Thumb Region. The Mentor Teacher will support Apprentice Teachers in becoming fully credentialed educators, model key instructional competencies, and provide ongoing and actionable feedback. The position requires a valid Michigan teacher certification, at least 3 years of teaching experience, and a summative evaluation rating of effective or highly effective.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university
- Valid Michigan teacher certification with an endorsement in the same area the Apprentice Teacher is pursuing
- At least 3 years teaching experience
- Summative evaluation rating of effective or highly effective on the three most recent teacher evaluations
