The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Chef de Rang. This is a full-time contract role (40-hour working week) in a luxury hotel with a strong passion for F&B. The ideal candidate is a food and beverage enthusiast who enjoys making others feel at home and has a positive outlook and outgoing personality.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Understanding of F&B operations and luxury hospitality
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
- Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
- Understanding of luxury hospitality F&B operations
- Experience in the same role in fine dining restaurants (advantageous)
- Knowledge of Micros (ideally)
- Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
