Health & Benefits Consultant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits team at Mercer. This role will be based in Portland, OR. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Health & Benefits (H&B) Consultant, you will assist with managing consulting engagements with 100 - 5,000 lives employers regarding their medical, dental, life, and disability benefit plans and programs.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to clients' complex health care benefit plans
• Client facing experience in a consulting capacity
• Renowned expertise and industry reputation in the health & benefits field
• Life and Health License
• Strong, innovative sales and marketing skills plus the ability to market organizational strengths successfully
• Well-versed mathematical skills, communication, and listening skills
• Proven project management skills
