Oliver Wyman Actuarial – Manager – UK Life

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Actuary Manager for its UK Life team. The role requires a fully qualified actuary with at least 5 years of experience in life insurance actuarial work. The candidate will work on a range of client projects, including capital and financial reporting, risk management, and new business propositions. The role involves leading client conversations, managing proposals, and developing intellectual capital. The ideal candidate has a strong background in problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to motivate others.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Life Insurance actuarial experience
• Fully qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent)
• Strong Knowledge of finance and/or risk management topics
• Demonstrated ownership of work streams and ability to support the design of a solution and execute on that design as part of a wider team
