Oliver Wyman is seeking a Principal in their Government and Public Institutions practice in Doha. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellence, extensive subject matter expertise, and previous experience in managing projects with tight deadlines. Responsibilities include leading teams of consultants, managing multiple projects and teams, developing trusted relationships with clients, and leading business development and sales efforts.
Requirements
- Degree from a top academic program
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm
- Experience in leading projects in the governmental/public sector institutions, ideally in the GCC region
- Expertise on relevant subject matters: Sector development, regional development & national champion strategies & investment attraction strategies, policy infrastructures, strategic support to ministries and government entities, amongst others
- Track record of leading and managing teams and clients, and delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced and demanding environments
- Ability to apply content knowledge, provide thought leadership in project execution, and to develop new intellectual capital to support business development activities
- Strong background in strategic problem-solving with demonstrable analytical skills
- Outstanding communication skills; comfort in presenting to senior executives, both internally and to clients
- Strong can-do attitude, willingness to take the initiative, curiosity and desire to learn
- Arabic language is a plus
- Willingness to travel
