Senior Health & Benefits Consultant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sr. Health & Benefits team at Mercer. This role will be based in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will assist with managing consulting engagements with 2,000+ life employers regarding their medical, dental, life, and disability benefit plans and programs.

Requirements

• Manage complex client engagements, including overall service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewal, business placement, benchmarking, and other studies.
• Develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies and drive the development of tools and solutions to address complex client issues.
• Effectively communicate Mercer's position on the latest industry trends to clients.
• Be accountable for revenue/profitability for client accounts and projects.
• Monitor the success of projects in terms of scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
• Set strategic direction and create demand for new products/services in the marketplace.
• Manage and participate in new business opportunities with sales channel partners.
