Job Description
Provides recovery coaching services to individuals and families struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Promotes recovery by removing barriers and obstacles to recovery and connects individuals to personal and community supports necessary to live independently.
Requirements
- Provides recovery coaching services
- Helps individuals find resources for harm reduction, detox, treatment, family support and education
- Maintains official records and documents, complies with HIPAA privacy laws, and ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations
- Provides outreach in the local area to promote the recovery coach services
- Connects individuals to personal and community supports necessary to live independently
- Assists individuals with obtaining recovery-oriented materials, attends recovery support meetings, and provides referrals as necessary
