Job Description
Marshmallow is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to provide technical leadership for data science across Claims Fraud, design, build and iterate on production ML and Generative AI/LLM systems, and collaborate closely with other Claims data scientists. The successful candidate will think in systems, be confident in challenging assumptions, and thrive in ambiguity and change. They will have significant commercial experience delivering end-to-end Machine Learning solutions, hands-on experience building and shipping Generative AI systems, and a strong statistical and modelling foundation.
Requirements
- Significant commercial experience delivering end-to-end Machine Learning solutions
- Hands-on experience building and shipping Generative AI systems in production
- Strong statistical and modelling foundation, with experience in risk-based decisioning under uncertainty
- Proven ability to influence technical direction across Data Science and Engineering
- Strong stakeholder management skills
