Job Description
The Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) will obtain specimens from patients and perform established clinical tests, following procedures and interpreting test results. Performs instrument and equipment maintenance and reviews and follows requests for tests prescribed by the provider.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited university in Clinical Laboratory Science or related science
- Registration and Board of Certification (BOC) in the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologist (AMT)
- One (1) year experience as a Generalist
- Ability to perform phlebotomy, blood banking, and multitasking
