Has principal responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, documentation, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge process of each assigned patient to attain optimal health and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse license certified by the State of Texas or licensure from a state within the nursing compact required.
- Hold current CPR/BLS or obtain upon hire.
- Credentials in an advanced cardiac life support course (e.g. ACLS or hospital equivalent) preferred
- Credentials in a nationally recognized pediatric advanced life support course (e.g. PALS or ENPC) preferred
- TNCC preferred
- One (1) year experience as a Professional Registered Nurse in a hospital environment preferred.
