Safety & Maintenance Coordinator

Virginia MetalFab is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to fill their newly opened Safety & Maintenance Coordinator role. The role will involve oversight of the facility's integrity, implementing and refining maintenance and safety programs, coordinating safety training, and performing preventative maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self starter with the ability to expand process foundations
• Organized with attention to detail
• Prior experience in the metal or fabrication industry is highly beneficial
• Safety and/or maintenance experience are beneficial for the position
• Forklift certification; trainer certification a plus
• OSHA, or willingness to obtain
