CNC Production Lathe Programmer

We are looking for CNC lathe operators who take pride in their work, employees who with previous experience and/or training will become competent in their jobs and help create world class sealing devices.

Requirements

• Write programs and modify existing programs for efficiency
• Translate instructions into CAM program
• Determine sequence of operations in a program
• Determine proper cutting tools required
• Assure the safe and efficient operation of the CNC lathe
• Start up and run machine that has been approved for production
• Maintain quality and efficient rate of production
• Record inspection results of parts to assure conformance to print
• Inform leader of any defects found in the parts
• Follow guidelines and instructions to perform job functions
• Maintain correct part counts and paperwork
• Pack parts for next operation, inventory or shipping
• Follow pre-established guidelines to preform job functions
• Good attendance and timely arrival for work is mandatory
