Job Description
We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to work at our Boone Quarry West in Columbia, MO. The position involves safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant.
Requirements
- Participate in safety programs and trainings
- Inspect equipment for signs of wear
- Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
- Work in a team environment
- Clean work areas
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Proper wear of personal protective equipment
- Notify supervisors of repairs needed
- Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements
- Assist in plant maintenance and repairs
