Job Description
The Maryland Rural Development Corporation (MRDC) is seeking a Teacher Assistant - Head Start to support the Head Start Teacher in creating a safe and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children.
Requirements
- Assist the Head Start Teacher in planning and implementing lesson plans
- Engage with children in developmentally appropriate activities
- Supervise children to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
- Develop positive relationships with families
- Follow Head Start health and safety policies
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and meetings
