Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Coconut Creek, FL. As a Medical Assistant with our clinic, you will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare professionals in PEDIATRIC patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and delivering excellent patient experiences.
Requirements
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures
- Take vital signs and record patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Perform phlebotomy, administer injections, and assist with other clinical procedures as required
- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and instruments
- Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
- Provide patient education regarding medications, procedures, and health maintenance
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
