Accounting Supervisor

The Department of Developmental Services is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to perform a full array of financial and administrative/support functions in the Metro Region's Business Office. The position will supervise accounting staff, process encumbrances and payments, and monitor business office tracking tools.

Requirements

• Three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience in accounting or auditing
• One year of experience in a supervisory, administrative or managerial capacity
• An Associate's degree with a major in accounting, business administration or business management may be substituted for a maximum of one year of experience
• A Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, business administration or business management may be substituted for a maximum of two years of experience
• A Graduate degree with a major in accounting, business administration or business management may be substituted for the required experience
