Job Description
The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) is seeking a Section Chief for Drinking Water (Environmental Analyst V) to oversee the Central Regional Office Drinking Water Program unit and staff. The position will supervise and manage staff work assignments, oversee compliance and enforcement activities, and provide technical assistance and outreach to stakeholders and municipalities.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of MassDEP statutes, regulation, policies, guidance, related to DWP and other BWR related programs.
- Ability to express complex ideas clearly and concisely, and to explain concepts in a logical sequence verbally and in writing.
- Ability to represent the Department in a professional manner at inspections, public meetings, and formal enforcement proceedings.
